FALL APPLICANT

NOVEMBER

Submit your University of California admission application online by the Nov. 30 priority deadline. Be sure to print out your application. universityofcalifornia.edu/apply

Research and apply for scholarships. financialaid.ucmerced.edu/types-aid/scholarships

Submit your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or California Dream Act application (if applicable) by March 2. fafsa.ed.gov or dream.csac.ca.gov

Log in to your application to complete your Transfer Academic Update about five weeks after the filing period has ended, so you can update your grades and course records. universityofcalifornia.edu/afterapply

Receive your transfer admission decision starting in April. my.ucmerced.edu

Receive your preliminary financial aid award letter in April.

Visit campus and experience a day at UC Merced. tours.ucmerced.edu

By June 1, submit both your Statement of Intent to Register (SIR) to commit to UC Merced, and any documents requested by the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships. my.ucmerced.edu

Apply for housing by June 3. housing.ucmerced.edu

Send your final transcript. It must be postmarked or electronically submitted to the Office of Admissions by July 1.
